These past few weeks have felt like each day on repeat, but I'm getting through it, and I hope you are too!

Spring is here, and it's my favorite season. I love the rain and seldom warm weather here in Illinois. We've had a few crazy weather events, but luckily, my area rarely gets the worst of it. My grandmother's lawn was struck by lightning and lit ablaze a few weeks ago, and parts of her back patio along her pool were burnt, but luckily, everything was okay and died down quick. Usually, during this time of year, I take many walks, hikes, and fishing trips, which I sadly haven't done many of yet. But, in a few weeks, my family is going on our biannual trip to the Lake of Ozarks, which I'm really excited about. I love fishing and we're having pretty good weather to do so. Usually, during early summer when I'm in the house a bit, I start playing the Sims 4 again, but this year I've started early. A month or two ago, I booted up my gaming laptop and started a new family in the Sims 4. Now, my first-generation Sims have died, and the second and third generations are thriving. The Sims is always gonna be a guilty pleasure of mine. I have played each game: The Sims, Sims 2, Sims 3, and the Sims 4. Sims 3 is my all-time favorite, but with new packs coming out for the Sims 4, I stick around.

For my inter(net) adventures, I have been obsessed with the Sibling Rivalry podcast with Bob the Drag Queen and Monet X Change. As well as the Bald and the Beautiful with Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova. They are RuGirls- Drag queens that have been on RuPaul's Drag Race. I absolutely love the insights they bring and the amazing comedy that naturally ebbs from them. Both podcasts consistently have poignant takes with a great lens of realism; I highly recommend.
