These past few weeks have felt like each day on repeat, but I'm getting through it, and I hope you are too! Spring is here, and it's my favorite season. I love the rain and seldom warm weather here in Illinois. We've had a few crazy weather events, but luckily, my area rarely gets the worst of it. My grandmother's lawn was struck by lightning and lit ablaze a few weeks ago, and parts of her back patio along her pool were burnt, but luckily, everything was okay and died down quick. Usually, during this time of year, I take many walks, hikes, and fishing trips, which I sadly haven't done many of yet. But, in a few weeks, my family is going on our biannual trip to the Lake of Ozarks, which I'm really excited about. I love fishing and we're having pretty good weather to do so.
